The clouds look on fire. Really cool image.

Yeah agreed with namib, wicked wild image here Scott. *whistle* I also find it inspiring how such amazing trees grow so strong and beautiful at an angle like this, :0)

Just incredible! You are VERY creative in the way you see the world. I like that! I love looking at Nature in ways that we aren't conditioned to. Photos like these of two broaden people's perspective and interest in Nature. These are extremely unique and put a whole new spin on photographing Nature.

Really good to see your work again.
Hope you had a photogenic autumn!!
Hugs,
Robin

Hello Scott...I seem to have missed this post!!!
Amazing photos...I'm a huge fan of abstract art; both of these tend to have a abstract feel to me...

When I view the first photo enlarged I can actually feel the angle from which you took the photo...

As mentioned before the second give does give the clouds the feeling of being on fire, especially if you look at the enlarged view...I would love to see this one in color, to see the color of the ground, the sky and the clouds ...I think it would loose the abstract feel but it would be equally as stunning a photo!!!
Cheers
